Starting in 1959, the Cevahir Brothers, who had been carrying out construction works separately, came together as a collective company and established the Cevahirler Commandite Company in 1976. Carrying out construction and contracting activities in various construction fields such as schools, factories, hospitals, water and sewage networks and bridges in Turkey, the group’s timely and successful completion of its project obligations accelerated its growth. As a result, the group entered into construction and contracting activities in Libya through Libya Construction and Trade Consortium Inc. established in 1975, which marked the beginning of the group’s expansion abroad.
